Lorraine Li works in placemaking and the preservation of local culture. She likes to understand a place through walking, letting the streets, shores, and everyday rhythms gradually unfold beneath her feet. During the pandemic, she began a series of temporary stays across Hong Kong: Tai O in 2022, and Cheung Chau in 2023. While she fell in love with the quietness of island life, she found herself missing the flavours and pulse of the city even more.
