She explores emotions such as guilt and shame as much as social and political imperatives like responsibility and reparations. Her mediums are culinary performances, research, and community mobilising. Ultimately, this practice is motivated not by pointing fingers but by flipping the script to enable more constellations of care and solidarity to emerge across the Eastern and Southern geographies where she operates. Mammeri is of German and Algerian heritage and is currently based in Bangkok.
