Rubbish Regata

Tully Arnot
Rubbish Regata

'Rubbish Regatta' is a free workshop for young people (and the young at heart), using discarded materials collected from the beaches and bays of Lantau Island, to create motorised boats, which will be raced and exhibited. Participants are welcome to work individually or in groups, and all skill levels are welcome. The workshop encourages ecological awareness, creative use of materials, experimentation and playful creativity. The workshop is run by Australian artist, tinkerer and creative technologist Tully Arnot, who is now based in Hong Kong working on a PhD.
